6/30/16 - All ear-training assignments for levels 1 through 8 have been uploaded and are ready for use.

6/15-/16 - Primo Theory is at the TMTA convention in Dallas. If you are attending, be sure to stop by and say hello!

6/16/16 - The Revised 2016 series is now available and ready to ship.

Important Updates! - 4/27/16

5/10/16 - The New Revised Edition is now available for pre-order and will be ready to ship by June 15, 2016. All levels will be discounted at 50% ($4.50 per book) for a very limited time.

4/27/16 - Primo Publishing is very excited to announce that the New Revised Primo Theory Edition will be available for pre-order May 1st. The books will be ready to ship by June 15th 2016. This edition will be in 100% compliance with the new TMTA Theory Syllabus and in addition have many improvements.

4/27/16 - The PrimoTheory.com website will be down briefly while we switch to a new web host and newly improved website. Check the Primo Theory Twitter feed for up-to-the-minute developments.

8/11/15 - TMTA has announced a new music theory syllabus. Changes to the tests will begin as of the Fall 2016 test. Go here to find out more.

7/25/15 - Levels 1, 2, 3, and 4 of new Spiral Series are now available. For a limited time these excelllent books are priced at $5.95 each.

6/27/15 - Spiral Series Levels 5 and 6 books will be ready to ship in July.

6/27/15 - Spiral Series Level 1, 2, 3 and 4 audio pages have been uploaded and are ready to go!

6/20/15 - Spiral Series Level 1 audio pages have been uploaded. Levels 2, 3, and 4 on the way.

6/17/15 - Ear-training resources for the new Spiral Series will be uploaded beginning on 6/20/2015.

6/17/15 - The initial distribution of the Spiral Series has commenced! Levels 1 - 4 will be available for order on 6/20/15 (view the contents here) . Levels 5 and 6 will be available 6/29/15. Check back here for updates.

12/7/14 - Suggested lesson plans and page maps, and blank page map templates added for levels 1-12. To find them go to the menu for each level and look under "Teacher's Resources".

12/7/14 - Quizlet Help: New usability charts have been added to help teachers determine what Quizlet sets work best for specific subject areas.

10/7/14 - QR code links for the Melodic and Rhythmic Dictation apps now lead more directly to the exercise menus - try them out!

9/28/14 - Teacher's Section additions:

PDF answer sheets for all dictation exercises (levels 5 - 12).
PDF blank sheets students can use to write the dictation exercises.

9/28/14 - Expanded the Quizlet study sets for levels 1-4. Subjects include note-naming, sharps and flats on the keyboard and staff, intervals, music symbols, Identifying half steps and whole steps, etc.

8/25/14 - All Melodic and Rhythmic Dictation, Supplemental Melodies apps have been uploaded. They are still undergoing testing but they work. I will make a Twitter announcement when all is 100%. So close!

8/24/14 - The new and improved Melodic and Rhythmic Dictation apps are almost ready. We are now hours away from completion. So, if you find these apps are currently acting strangely - it's just us running some tests!

Also to be uploaded in the next few days - online interactive study tools for musical terms and note naming for levels 1 - 4.

8/04/14 - New additions in the works this summer and will be ready this month - improved audio and interface for some of the apps, interactive study tools for levels 1 - 4, tutorials, and more.
